The Power of Receiving God’s Instructions and Corrections

victory and to bring Him glory.

1. 1 Corinthians 6:20 – “For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
God paid the ultimate price through Jesus’ sacrifice, meaning our lives are no
longer our own.
Our actions, thoughts, and behaviors must align with Him. It’s not enough to just
recite scripture—we must live it out so God gets the glory.
2. Colossians 2:7 (NLT) – “Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built
on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will
overflow with thankfulness.”
Deep roots represent stability and resilience. Without God’s Word grounding us,
we can be easily shaken by challenges.
Building on Him brings strength, gratitude, and fruitfulness in every area of life.
3. 1 Timothy 4:15 – “Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that
